Texas sushi chef has new concept for Houston and ... Boston?
The concept is opening new locations from coast to coast. Austin chef and sushi master Tyson Cole's fine dining Japanese concept, Uchi, is expanding to Boston. The James Beard Foundation Award-winning concept will be opening at 374 Congress St. in the historic Fort Pont neighborhood, taking over the former space of Pink Taco. The opening date has yet to be announced, but it is expected to be in late 2027. Once open, this will be the 14th location across the U.S. for Uchi. Hai Hospitality also announced another Izakaya-inspired concept, which will be opened in Houston's River Oaks neighborhood.
