As planning officials approved a housing development in Swampscott, a neighbor of Tedesco Country Club warned of a potential threat posed by flying golf balls. The development, planned by Glover LLC, aims to build 140 housing units near Vinnin Square, with 96 of these units located in Swamp Scott and 44 in Marblehead. However, a lawyer for Tedesoc Country Club, Chris Drucas, argued that haste in approving the project was inappropriate and suggested additional due diligence before the project could proceed. The project was approved with a few conditions related to egresses, recommendations from the Department of Public Works and current approval from the Marblehead Planning Board.
