Foliage weather continues, chilly temps with sunshine
Highs near 70 today, then cooler air and possible freezes by Wednesday. After a busy weekend with peak foliage, temperatures are expected to remain sunny throughout the week. A mild southwest breeze will push in ahead of a cold front, which will drop down on us tomorrow and continue into Wednesday. More frosts and freezes are expected from the immediate coast away from the coast. Forecasters are confident that Halloween will be mild and dry, with seasonably cool temperatures for trick-or-treating. Rain is expected to fall after the weekend, with a more active pattern expected for the first week of November.
