"Their quick response likely saved his life." Three police officers from Holbrook, Massachusetts, rescued a man trapped in a burning Jeep after a crash early Sunday morning in a suburb of Boston. The collision occurred around 3:20 a.m. and involved Sgt. Martin Faherty and officers Jonathan O'Brien and Matthew Richards. The driver, a 37-year-old Holbrook man, was transported to South Shore Hospital with minor injuries. The Jeep's driver will be charged with operating under the influence (second offense), negligent operation of a motor vehicle, a marked lanes violation and speeding. This is the second time O'rien has rescued a driver from a burning vehicle within a year.
