Marblehead Police Urge Halloween Caution, Detail Oct. 29 Road Closures
Police urged adult supervision, reflective gear and slower driving as Halloween approaches in Marblehead. Marblehead Police Department has issued a warning for Halloween, urging caution for children and drivers. Children should be dressed in the dark, wearing reflective clothing or carrying flashlights, and be accompanied by adults. The department also recommends that trick-or-treating should occur between 5 and 8 p.m. The Trick-or'-Treating in the Business Districts event will be held on Oct. 29, with several roads closed from 4 to 5:30 p.M. The main closure will affect Washington Street from the bottom of Pleasant Street to Rockaway Street, and Summer Street will also be closed during that time. Residents planning to attend Halloween activities or drive through the area may need to build in extra travel time.
