CLEAR has revealed that its secure identity technology is now accessible in Terminal E of Boston Logan International Airport (BOS). This extension means that CLEAR’s expedited security lanes are now operational in Terminals A, B, and E. The expansion is set to generate 15 new job opportunities, increasing CLEAR’s workforce to 87 employees at BOS airport. Additionally, it is anticipated to contribute approximately $5.3 million annually to the economic landscape of the Boston area.

“We are thrilled to be expanding our footprint at Boston Logan Airport and help even more Bostonians enjoy a friction-free airport experience at Terminal E,” said CLEAR CEO Caryn Seidman Becker. “As travel ramps up during spring break, Ambassadors at our CLEAR Plus Lanes are ready to create a predictable, fast and secure journey for even more travelers flying out of Boston.”

CLEAR members utilize dedicated lanes to verify their identity using their eyes or fingerprints, eliminating the need for traditional identification such as wallets and driver’s licenses. Upon verification, a CLEAR Ambassador guides members through the dedicated lane directly to TSA physical security checkpoints. Membership in CLEAR Plus, which grants access to expedited lanes, costs approximately $16 per month billed annually, with discounts offered to Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, and American Express members, as well as active military personnel, veterans, and government officials.

CLEAR debuted at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) in May 2019 at Terminal A, marking its 29th airport location offering identity verification services. Since then, CLEAR has expanded its presence at BOS, introducing lanes in Terminal B in November 2021 and now extending to Terminal E. Presently, CLEAR’s expedited identity verification lanes are available at 56 airports nationwide.
