Needham dad and daughter develop the ultimate digital guide to Halloween
A new app designed by a Massachusetts dad and daughter is mapping out the sweetest spots for trick-or-treaters and much more. A new app designed by a Massachusetts dad and daughter, Haullo, aims to map out the best spots for trick-or-treaters and guide them to allergy-safe treats, best Halloween decorations, and a candy bandit detector. The app was developed as a homework assignment for Needham tween Brynn Berkowitz and her dad, Dave Berkowitz, who work in health care technology. Brynn used AI coding tools to build the app, which generated images and colors, and together, they created Haullo. The free app was launched in September and works best with community involvement.
