The airport held auditions to find a new voice for announcements throughout the airport and has narrowed it down to eight finalists. German, who was born and raised in Boston, was born with a strong accent and shares his love of the city. He hopes his voice will give travelers a boost of hometown pride. The eventual winner will be announced in early November.
