Patriots tight ends Henry, Raridon stepping up at perfect time
The increased production from Patriots tight ends Hunter Henry and Eli Raridon is coming at an ideal time as WRs battle injuries, inconsistency. The New England Patriots are not getting enough production from their wide receivers in their recent loss to the Chicago Bears. Starting quarterback Drake Maye threw for 321 yards and two touchdowns, but only 87 of these yards went to wide receivers. Other players, including running back Rhamondre Stevenson, led the team with five catches for 93 yards and a touchdown. Hunter Henry led the scoring with seven receptions and 71 receiving yards on seven targets. His performance has been instrumental in the Patriots' improvement on offense since the Jacksonville Jaguars loss in Week 3. Henry ranks 11th among all tight ends in receptions (26) and receiving yards (296), fifth in yards after catch (171) and seventh in total EPA (27.61). Raridon's 80.8 receiving grade from Pro Football Focus is the highest of any rookie tight end.
