About an hour later, at 8:30 a.m., the vehicle fire at the O’Neill Tunnel was put out and all lanes were reopened, according to a follow-up MassDOT post. State police and MassDOT were not immediately available for comment on the situation. There was no information on the cause of the fires or the length of delays.
