Patriots' Mike Vrabel Sends Clear Message on A.J. Brown After Recent Struggles
Mike Vrabel is standing behind A.J. Brown after the Patriots receiver struggled to find consistency since returning from injury. New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel is not concerned about A.J. Brown's performance since returning from injury, despite his struggles with drops and contested catches over his last two appearances. Brown was acquired from the Philadelphia Eagles to bolster the team's passing attack, but his connection with quarterback Drake Maye has yet to be consistent. Vrab believes Brown can rediscover his form as the Patriots work to improve their offensive consistency. He acknowledged the missed opportunities but highlighted Brown's ability to make difficult catches and suggested that some contested plays could have led to defensive pass interference penalties or simply good coverage. Brown is still an important part of the team’s plans to improve.
